COMPOSITION Each film coated tablet contains (approx.) Vitamin D3 (as Cholecalciferol 2000 IU) 50mcg. Vitamin K2 (as Menaquinone – 7) 50mcg.
INDICATION: D-FORZ 2000 IS RECOMMENDED FOR, Treatment and Prevention of Calcium and Vitamin D Deficiency. In conditions caused by low levels of Parathyroid Hormone. Rickets. Softening bones. Osteoporosis and Osteoporosis caused by Glucocorticoid drugs. Generalized changes in bones associated with renal failure. Supporting immune. brain and nervous system health. Regulates insulin levels and supporting diabetes management. Lung function and cardiovascular health. Influencing the expression of genes involved in cancer development.
D-FORZ 1000 has a unique formulation of high strength of Vitamin 03 and Vitamin K2 MK-7. High strength of Vitamin 03 allows the absorption of calcium from the intestine. It also helps to prevent bone resorption by counter acting the effect of parathyroid hormone. Vitamin K2 is necessary for the proper utilization of Calcium and absorption and full incorporation into the bone. Vitamin K2 prevents the formation of calcification in blood vessels, cartilage and soft tissues, which mostly occurred in people who continuously take supplements of Calcium & Vitamin D3 The role of Vitamin D3 in good health continues to expand as the knowledge of this Vitamin’s effects on different body system grows. Research now suggests that optimal Serum levels of Vitamin D3 supports normal cell differentiation, cardiovascular health, normal immune function, good balance, healthy mood, normal fetal development, neuronal growth and neuro development, healthy glucose metabolism, musculoskeletal comfort, periodontal health and normal intestinal immune responses. Areas of research that have gained momentum over the past several years concern the relationship of vitamin D3 deficiency or insufficiency to changes in cellular proliferation, changes in fetal brain development, and mental health. Evidence is also mounting that vitamin 03 supplementation may provide key immune supports. Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol): While cholecalciferol is made in the skin when 7 dehydrochloecalsiferol reacts with sunlight, many things effect the degree, to which this biosynthesis occurs, including time of days, seasons, location, smog/ pollution, clothing, shade of skin (darker skin requires more sun), and sunscreen use, Low-cholesterol diets and certain cholesterol therapies can also affect vitamin D3 formation. Reversing deficiency and maintaining optimal serum vitamin D3 levels beneficially impacts biochemistry and numerous body systems. Bone Health: The body needs Vitamin D3 to absorb Calcium, and the importance of Vitamin 03 in skeletal is well established although bone density is most often associate with Calcium intake, insufficient Vitamin D3 negatively affects Calcium absorption. Without adequate absorption, the body must take Calcium from its stores in the skeleton, which weakens the existing bone and prevent the formation of strong, new bone. Clinical research shows that taken vitamin 03 orally with Calcium supplement can support healthy bone turn over, and adequate Calcium and Vitamin 03 throughout the life as part of a well-balanced diet-may reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Vitamin K2 – MK7: Bone benefits: Among the dietary factors critical to bone health, Vitamin K2 has emerged as a key player. Vitamin K2 is believed to be necessary for bone mineralization. Through carboxylation, Vitamin K2 activates osteocalcin, the protein needed to bind calcium to the mineral matrix in bone. Several studies have demonstrated the efficacy of Menaquinone 7 (e.g., dose of 50mcg/d) to increase osteocalcin carboxylation and to increase the cOC:ucOC ratio. A high cOC:ucOC ratio associated with bone health. A recent in vitro study also showed an osteogenic effect on Menaquinone 7 administration on human mesenchymal cell differentiation. In addition, the vitamin may protect bone integrity by reducing the synthesis of prostaglandin E2 or interleukin-6 by osteoclasts. Animals and human studies have demonstrated a significant beneficial effect of MenaQuinone7 Supplementation on bone health. Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 share some similar characteristics are believed to act synergistically. Cardiovascular and other Health Benefits: Vitamin K2 benefits cardiovascular health by participating in the carboxylation of matrix GLA (MGP), a protein regarded to be the most potent inhibitor of arterial calcification. Researchers have demonstrated that supplementation with K2 reduces arterial calcium deposits, and that long-term intake of long-chain Menaquinone 7 is inversely correlated with calcium accumulation in arteries. Vitamin K2 has specific receptor binding sites that allow it to regulate gene activity. Besides its gene-mediating effects upon critical proteins, the vitamin can also bind with the steroid and xenobiotic receptors and influence their expression. In addition, vitamin K2 also demonstrates antioxidant activity and reduces levels of certain markers, such as acute phase reactants (e.g., C—reactive protein); and participates in the induction of apoptosis.
ADVERSE REACTIONS: Vitamin D at normal doses usually has no side effects. Too much vitamin D can cause harmful high calcium levels. Some the associated symptoms are as follows: nausea, vomiting, constipation, loss appetite, increased thirst, increased urination, mood changes, and unusual tiredness.
WARNINGS: Consult your health Practitioner prior to use. Individuals taking blood thinner or other medication should discuss potential interactions with their healthcare practitioner. Consider total vitamin K2 intake (Food and Supplements) if you are taking – blood thinning medication. Present studies show that 50mcg of vitamin K2 MK-7 daily is not likely to interfere blood – thinning medications.
